 Native to the mediterranean it is used in the oldest perfumes of the world, its essential oil is herbaceous and powerful, evoking the freshness of eucalyptus globulus. Historically found in men's perfumes: fougere, woody, or citrus fragrances, rosemary has become a staple of mens perfume:  now it is  found more and more in feminine compositions, associated in particular with thyme, laurel, or even marjoram.
