More Info erythrulose, one of the most common self tanning agents, mimics natural sugars found in raspberries and other red berries. It reacts with amino groups of keratin in the skin leading to brownish polymers melanoids especially when combined with dihydroxyacetone DHA. It is a yellowish viscous liquid. CAS 533-50-6.

It produces generally together with DHA a natural, deep even tan without stripes DHA alone may create an orange tone stripes, it prolongs the tan leaves the skin less dry, tanning effect appears only in 23 days DHA in 26 hours.

Use Can be added to formulas as is, usual concentration 1%-3%  if used with 2-4% DHA, 3%-5% if used alone.

Applications Selftanning creams lotions with DHA, cream foundations bronzing creams alone.
